1. Old Fashioned
Top of the list and a heavyweight champion of the world is the Old Fashioned. Simple in the quantity of ingredients of bourbon whiskey, brown sugar and Angostura Bitters, it has been credited to James E. Pepper, a Louisville based bartender who created the original at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York where he worked.

The Espresso Martini cocktail is a world-beater and phenomenally popular since its creation. In fact, it’s getting even more popular day by day and is an iconic party cocktail. Hands up how many readers have had one, or two…
3. Pornstar Martini
Like it or loathe it, the Pornstar Martini is a modern classic and is here to stay. It has been thrown into the public eye by its name, presentation and sweet flavours of passion fruit, vanilla and Champagne or Prosecco.
4. Negroni
The Negroni is a classic and dates back over 100 years when rumour has it that Count Camillo Negroni asked a bartender to create a stronger version of his favourite cocktail, an Americano. Legend has it Count Negroni requested for the soda to be replaced with gin.
5. Aperol Spritz
The Aperol Spritz is an attractive orange drink, created by mixing Italian aperitif Aperol, Prosecco and soda, and is rumoured to have first become popular in the 1950’s.
